I understand that choosing a therapist is an important decision, and I’m here to provide you with the information you need. If you have additional questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!

1. What types of therapy do you offer?
I offer a range of therapeutic services, including individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. I specialize in various approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, among others.

2. What are your rates for therapy sessions?

  • Individual Therapy: $150 per 45-minute session

  • Family Therapy: $175 per 60-minute session

  • Group Therapy: $25 per 90-minute session

3. Do you accept insurance?
I accept a variety of insurance plans including Aetna, Cigna, Northwell Direct, Oscar, Optum, and United Healthcare. A majority of my clients have GHI or NYSHIP and I submit claims for them to be reimbursed for our sessions. If I am not in-network, I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.

4. What forms of payment do you accept?
Payment can be made with credit/debit via app called IvyPay and is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

5. What is your cancellation policy?
At least 24 hours' notice is required for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. If you miss an appointment or fail to provide the required notice, you may be charged a cancellation fee. Please refer to our cancellation policy for detailed information.

6. How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by calling me directly or filling out the contact form on our website. I will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm your appointment and answer any questions you may have.

7. How can I prepare for my first therapy session?
Consider reflecting on your goals for therapy and any specific issues you'd like to address. It may also be helpful to think about your personal history and current stressors. Bring any questions or concerns you have about the therapy process.

8. What should I do if I have an emergency?
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please seek immediate help by calling 911 or going to the nearest emergency room. You can also call/text 988 to reach a crisis helpline 24/7 for free.
